Practice Payment Policy

It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken. A list and explanation of our charges and how we calculate our fees can be obtained from reception.

A written estimate and treatment plan will be provided for each patient. The treatment coordinator is here for our patients; not only to discuss their individual needs for dental treatment but also to help you to afford the dental treatment you require. We offer patients a range of payment options, including monthly payments for preventative treatment (providing 10% discount on dentistry) to 0% finance schemes for treatments over £350. Please do not hesitate to discuss your needs with us. We allocate time with the treatment coordinator at no additional cost. All patients can, at any time, book time with the treatment coordinator. You may pay for your treatment by cash, or credit/debit card. To be a registered patients you have one of four options they can either

Join our registration and insurance scheme from as little as £5 per patient per month.

Pay as you go for your dentistry (no discounts).

Join one of four possible preventative dental plans from £8.50 per month (which may allow you to benefit from a 10% discount off specific dental treatment)

Finance their dental treatment over £350 through one of our specialised providers (0% interest and monthly payments)

Practice Payment Policy

It is important in a dental practice that administrative processes are followed by both the staff and the patients. We service our own patients and patients from other practices (referrals). When we take referrals from other practices it is important that the patients are aware of the charges and the booking rules relating to payment and cancellations. For patients of dental dimensions, policies are set out (as below) in the new patient payment options document.

Referred patients: Full Payment is on booking of the appointment. The following cancellation fees apply: for appointments cancelled within 2 working days, you may be charged for the full cost of treatment if we are unable to re-fill the allocated space.

Dental dimensions registered patients: Full Payment is on booking of the appointment. However, if more than one appointment is required payment can be divided equally over the number of appointments required for the treatment. The following cancellation fees apply: for appointments cancelled within 2 working days, you may be charged for the full cost of treatment if we are unable to re-fill the allocated space.

0% finance is available (through HITACHI) for dental treatment over £350.00. Under EU regulations dental treatment can not carried out until 21 days after the finance agreement has been signed.

Plan Payments: Plans run for 12 months and treatment will be delivered over this period. Any cancellation of the plan within this time frame means the patient will revert to a pay-as-you-go system and this will be back dated to the start of the plan year. Any monthly payments received during this period will be applied to the account. Any discounts applied during the year will be null and void and subject to repayment. A further £20 administration fee will be payable.

Cash (sterling), credit card / debit card are the only forms of acceptable payment.
