Dental dimensions is a Limited company (no. 5960472) provides private dental health care. We aim to provide accessible, integrated dental treatment and education to the community within Cornwall, Devon and the Southwest. We wish to ensure well being, reduce dental disease, support the local and regional community. We provide services that help people exercise choice. Allow people: 1. To have full involvement and have informed choice about their individual assessment of need, 2. To make choices about their future personal plans of dental care, 3. To have intermediate dental care services that provide people requiring short-term intervention pain relief. 4. To have skilled, sensitive care to enable people to achieve the highest possible quality of oral health, free from pain and disease. 5. To have respect, confidentiality and we recognise that people have the opportunity to have privacy in any personal discussion regarding their dental treatment or medical health

We provide a wide range of General Dental Services under both NHS and Independent arrangement.

Our goal is to provide high quality, effective, treatment in safe surroundings and to make the patient`s visit to us as comfortable and productive as possible.

Patient`s Rights and Diversities are honoured and respected at all times.

For routine care, we will carry out regular examinations and assessments to establish the needs and wishes of individual patients. Treatment options are explained and choices respected.

If someone has a dental emergency, and is a registered patient, we will endeavour to speak to them and give advice on the day of contact and to see them within an appropriate period following contact. Other emergency care is by arrangement  and availability.

Patients are regularly consulted through informal chats and Patient Satisfaction Surveys. Appointments are established according to the needs and of the individual.

The individual requirement for privacy will be respected at all times and all information relating to individuals will be treated in a confidential manner.

Regulated Activity 1 Diagnostic Procedures
Services A Dentist will see every patient at the start of all courses of treatment in order to diagnose the type and severity of problems. Appropriate diagnostic tests will be used in line with current evidence based practice. All options will be discussed with the patient and an appropriate treatment plan formulated and agreed with the patient.
Locations: This activity will be carried out exclusively at the following location, using the surgeries and equipment provided and maintained by the Service Provider.

Description of – Diagnostic Procedures.
1. Confirming full Medical History, Dental History and history of presenting problems.
2. Physical Examination, always including soft tissues, gum condition and dental hard tissues.
3. X-rays and other physical tests, in line with current evidence based practice.
4. Discussion with the patient, and formulating a Treatment Plan which will be effective, and in accordance with the patient`s wishes and beliefs.
5. Arranging treatment and any internal or external referrals as required.
6. Arranging recall intervals according to current guidelines.
7. All procedures carried out in premises and with equipment which is safe and maintained according to manufacturer`s instructions.

Regulated Activity 2 Treatment of Disorders, Disease and Injury
Services A Dentist, or Hygienist, or suitably qualified Dental Health Professional will perform treatment according to the agreed Treatment Plan, whilst informing the patient of, and respecting their right to withdraw consent at any point.

Treatments will be in line with current evidence based practice, and performed in safe and appropriate environments.
