Bethan – Dental Therapist

Dale – Assistant Manager

GDC: 223658

Dale joined dental dimensions in April 2012, and is an enthusiastic member of the clinical team.  Dale is a qualified dental nurse, but you may also see him managing patients’ needs as a treatment co-ordinator, or assisting our patients with oral health advice, or assisting with the taking of dental radiographs.  Behind the scenes, Dale assists the practice manager in dealing with queries and complaints and is responsible for training new members of staff, ensuring practice policies and training is up-to-date and that the practice is compliant with current legislation and directives.

Dale underwent his training in a privately run practice in Kent and gained experience in both NHS and Private dentistry.  He gained his qualification and moved to Cornwall to advance his skills by achieving two additional post-qualifications, enabling him to deliver oral health education and take dental radiographs on patients under a prescription from a dentist.

Dale takes time to explain available options, so that you can decide on the best possible care.  Dale is happy to see patients for free to discuss treatment options or how to maintain or improve your oral health.  If you have any questions about how to maintain your mouth, address gum disease, how you can best compliment your periodontal treatment at home, or have any questions about the treatment plan provided by your dentist, then please book yourself in for a free consultation.

Louisa – Head Dental Nurse

GDC: 248806

Louisa joined dental dimensions in August 2011.  Since then she has developed her skills in private dentistry and has become a very capable dental nurse.  Louisa underwent her nurse training here and is now a fully qualified and accredited dental nurse.

Before joining us, Louisa worked as a carer before undertaking a dental nurse qualification and working for two years in NHS dentistry so brought with her skills in caring which make her an invaluable member of the team.

Louisa is articulate and able to explain dental treatments to patients.  Her welcoming and kind manner allows the patients to feel at ease and confident that they will receive the very best of treatments.

Louisa now works full time with Dr. Crighton and is friendly and happy to help with any questions or queries that you may have.

From time to time you may see Louisa helping out on reception. Her chair-side experience gives Louisa a broad knowledge of treatments provided at dental dimensions.

Recently, Louisa has undertaken a post qualification in Dental Radiography.  This means that you may see Louisa taking radiographs under supervision from time to time.

Tami – Receptionist

Tami joined dental dimensions in October 2015 as a receptionist. In the short time that Tami has been with us she had developed her skills as a competent and friendly Care Coordinator.

Tami has a friendly and approachable manner and a wealth of knowledge and experience in Customer Care.  She cares deeply about patient satisfaction and welcomed the opportunity to develop even further the personal touch that we strive for at dental dimensions.

Tami can assist you with the booking of your appointments, coordinate the treatment put together by your dentist and care for your refreshment needs in our waiting area.

Amelia – Trainee Dental Nurse

GDC: In Training

Amelia joined dental dimensions in mid 2016.

It has been Amelia’s goal to train as a dental nurse for some considerable time and we have been pleased to offer that training.  Under the supervision of Dr. Crighton and Louisa, Amelia is quickly becoming acquainted with the very challenging, but rewarding job of assisting the dentist and managing her own surgery.

As your dental nurse, Amelia will be coordinating much of your treatment behind the scenes, as well as greeting you and providing chair-side assistance during your treatments.

Amelia has an incredibly warm character.  She has previously worked in customer service and is very approachable.  Please feel free to speak to Amelia in the building if you pass her.

Lyn – Sterilisation

Lyn has been with dental dimensions since 2014.

Lyn has an integral role in ensuring patient safety in her role as sterilisation operator.  Lyn’s role is one of the most crucial in the building.  We are constantly reviewing our sterilisation procedures to ensure that we are compliant and up-to-date.  It is Lyn’s responsibility to ensure that these are carried out diligently.

Lyn works part time for us and you may see her popping in and out of surgery from time to time.
